Retrofitted watch are
watches that have had the original movement replaced either with a
quartz movement or other mechanical movement. These watches may also
show up on their regular brand page.
There
are times when this is a very good alternative to discarding a
favorite watch. The following are times when a retrofit should be
considered.
The
existing movement is beyond repair
The
owner can no longer wind a mechanical watch due to age or arthritis
The
owner just wants the accuracy and ease of a battery powered watch
You
would like the look of a vintage watch but do not want to spend
that much for a watch that may need to be serviced on a regular
basis.
Please E-Mail
