If you haven't had a problem with your vintage watch you are about to! 

Basic Service: The watch is unassembled about 80% thoroughly cleaned and oiled and reassembled, timed and checked for accuracy. + or - 2 minutes per day is considered acceptable for this service level but we usually are better than this. This is adequate for most watches that are running  even if sluggish. We offer this service at $35.00 for wristwatches and $50.00 for pocket watches.

Overhaul Service: The watch is completely unassembled, each part is inspected and the watch is thoroughly cleaned and oiled, any damaged or worn parts are repaired or replaced and the watch is reassembled, timed and checked for accuracy. The watch must be within + or - 1 minute in 24 hours and we do our best to be under 30 seconds. Price $95.00 

Crystal and Dial Replacement:  Many times pocket watches end up laying in a drawer simply because the crystal and/or dial have become so worn the watch is no longer attractive, we stock hundreds of new old stock crystal and can get the ones we do not have and do replacement for only $25.00, many old stock crystals are becoming very hard to find especially for size 16 pocket watches so when we have to purchase a new crystal the replacement cost will be $35.00. We stock a lot of replacement dials for most American Pocket Watches and while perfect dials are expensive and hard to come by, we have many dials that look very good to the naked eye, even though they may have some minor repairs, they can be installed on your watch for as little as $35.00. Most of these dials were dials that we replaced on the watches we sell. These dials are a good option for a watch that gets regular use and the current dial is shot or if you are getting a watch ready to sell and can't recoup the cost of a perfect dial. Crystals and dials can bring a drab looking watch back to life. Photos of stock dials are available on request. These dials are factory original enamel. New melamine are available on request. Installed prices from $75.00

Before we repair your watch you will be quoted a price for the repair. If it turns out that we can not repair the watch to reasonable accuracy there will be no charge. Reasonable accuracy is within 1 to 1-1/2  minutes per day for an older mechanical watch, usually less than one minute per day, but this can vary depending on the watch movement. If you have an e-mail address please include it with your repair along with any other pertinent information about your watch. Once a repair is completed the owner will be notified by e-Mail if we have not heard from the owner or received payment with thirty (90) days of this e-mail the repaired watch will be offered for sale on this website or eBay. The owner may reclaim the watch any time prior to sale by paying the repair charges.

If we have replaced parts during an unsuccessful repair attempt, and the owner wants the un-repaired watch returned the new parts will be removed and returned to our inventory, the defective parts will be reinstalled in the watch if possible. Sometimes the nature of the damaged part makes it impossible to reinstall into the watch, examples of this would be a broken mainspring or broken crystal, of course there are others.
