The enamel dial is an almost perfect double sunk 60 minute style with only a very faint hairline just under 1 and a couple of edge flee flick between 1 and 2. You can't even see them in this close up photo.

Housed in a 14K white gold filled bar over crown case, this watch is set off with a perfect beveled glass crystal and original enamel Montgomery Dial, just like the one shown except it does not say Railway Special and has a very faint hairline between 11 an 12. The dial shown is a new melamine dial and can be supplied with this watch if the buyer prefers it. 

Both cover screw on and off perfectly.

The winding is as smooth as silk on this beauty.

The dial has a chip repair near the center wheel hole and a fain hairline near 11.

The case is a bar over crown style that has been repaired where the bow attaches to the case resulting in a stiff bow. Wear in this area is common so look at the photos carefully and determine for yourself if this is a problem. The movement can be re-cased at a reasonable cost.

Both cover screw on and off properly and other than the repair mentioned above this is a very nice case.

The dial and hands are near perfect, no cracks chips or hairlines on the dial and no rust on the hands.

The dial is very good with only the faintest hairline on the outer edge of the dial between 4 and 5. This is completely covered by the bezel.

The crystal is new old stock beveled glass.

The bow on the case is stiff, it appears that the area where the bow attaches to the case has been reinforced with gold solder. It is common for this area to wear on this style of case. There is a small ding in the rear cover.

Both covers screw on and off and fit as they should.

The Montgomery dial is near perfect, with only a small faint hairline on the inside of the 2. No cracks or chips.

First, the movement has been completely overhauled and a new mainspring installed. 

The case is a gold filled railroad style with a dust cover. The are no initials and all three covers operate as they should. The case is in very nice condition.

The Montgomery dial has no cracks, hairlines or chips.

Serial number 1554841 dates this watch to 1913 making it close to 100 years old.

This is a very nice Hamilton 21 Jewel 992 housed in a Hamilton Railroad Model case. Serial # 2568945.

The dial is in very good condition, no chips and only two very faint hairlines that are difficult to see without magnification.

The case is 10K gold filled and is most likely the original to this movement being a Hamilton case. The case has some wear issues on the back cover and side that don't show up in the photos. There is thin dent in the side and what could best be described as small gouges on the back cover. The case has been cleaned and polished and is very attractive despite the issues listed.

The crystal is new old stock glass.

The watch has been serviced and runs for 48 hours or longer on a full wind.

The dial is almost perfect with a very tiny edge chip near 2, where the lever is. It is on the underside of the edge so is almost impossible to see.

The case is in very good condition with only minor signs of wear and scratches. Remember this watch is well over 100 years old.

The crystal is perfect.

The covers screw on and off flawlessly.

The watch chain comes with this watch, it appears to be gold filled but, I am not sure about the markings. It looks real nice with this watch. I can tell that the chain is very old by the wear on the inside of the links.
