This is a very special size 16 21 jewel Illinois pocket watch.

Adjusted to three positions, grade 826.

Serial number 3661804 dates this watch to 1921

Lever set and stem wind.

This movement was just serviced, is running strong and keeping RR time.

The case is extraordinary Keystone gold filled case. 

The crystal is new old stock beveled glass and the back is nicely engraved, without a monogram.

I will sell this watch in a standard Burlington two plates of solid gold with either a plain back or a back with Mason symbols engraved. I have both of these cases in stock.

The dial is a bold double sunk model with two very minor chip repairs and a faint hairline between 11 and 12 and between 3 and 4. None of these flaws are visible to the naked eye, at least not mine.

The case is 14K white gold filled, there is some smoothing on the back cartouche where initials have been polished off.

This 21 jewel size 12 has just been serviced and is keeping excellent time.

Serial number 4702398 dates this watch to 1926.

Adjusted to 3 positions.

The gold filled case is in spectacular condition, the original enamel dial is near perfect as are the original hands.

The glass crystal appears to be almost perfect.

It is difficult to find watches nearly 90 years old in this condition.

This vintage pocket watch is12 size (case diameter 45 mm) and has 17 jewels. The movement is in nice condition and is marked Adjusted, has the patent micrometer regulator, and has a gold train.

The crystal is new old stock glass.

The dial is a two tone striped brushed gold, I believe original to this watch and in good condition.

The case is a white base metal that has been electroplated with pure coin gold. If you are familiar with white base metals than you know that generally speaking they cannot be gold plated. 

After years of trial and errors we have developed a process to gold plate nearly all white metal cases. This requires a multiple step process with the last step being electroplating in an 18K plating solution using a pure (coin grade) gold anode.

The case is a Burlington case made with two plates of solid gold.

The crystal is new old stock glass

The original enamel dial has and edge repair near the ten minute marker, this is completely covered by the bezel.

There are small hairlines near 59 and 20 minute markers but are not real visible to the naked eye.

Serial # 2757477 date this watch to 1916

I believe the coat of arms is for the Ancient Order of Foresters, however I am not sure of this.

This size 16, 21 jewel Crescent Street has just been serviced and is keeping good time.

The gold filled Dueber case is in good condition with effortless fitting covers, the crown is original to this case and is worn pretty smooth so if desired by the buyer the crown can be replaced.

The crystal is new old stock glass.

The dial has no chips, cracks or hairlines but there is a light stain on the right side of the dial, not noticeable to the naked eye, but you can see it with the close up macro photo.

Serial number 17121255 dates the watch to 1909 making this beautiful watch over 100 years old.

This is a spectacular 21 jewel B.W. Raymond grade 590 size 16 pocket watch. With less than 8000 total production this is a rare find it near perfect condition.

Serial number 43396885 dates this watch to 1946.

The movement was just serviced.

The case is an Elgin Giant swing out double stock 10 KGF. This is a "giant" of a case appearing to be closed to an 18 size than a 16, but it is a size 16. Case screw mark indicate this case may be original to movement.

The glass crystal is free of scratches or chips.

The dial and hands are in pristine condition.

Size 16 BW Raymond 19 jewel with a jeweled motor barrel. Beautifully damasked movement housed in a nice 20 year gold filled case.

In my opinion these 19 jewel BW Raymond movements with the jeweled motor barrel are stronger runners than many of the 21 jewel models.

The dial is near perfect with just one small faint hairline inside of 3, no cracks or chips.

The dial is free on any hairlines, chips or cracks.

The glass crystal is perfect.

The case is very special on this watch. it is a heavy base metal that has been electroplated in our shop with a heavy layer of coin gold, guaranteed to exceed 18K. Plated for over 8 minutes  this is a very heavy layer of pure gold.

Many railroad men preferred base metal cases because they are so rugged, unlikely to get cross threaded or dent.

This is a 1941 Size 16 21 Jewel Waltham Riverside Serial number 30491089 housed in a Keystone 10K rolled gold plate case.

The movement was just serviced and is running strong and keeping good time.

The dial is an original Montgomery style, no chips but a fait hairline on top of the red 55 - 60, this is difficult to see without magnification and is covered when the bezel is in place.

The hands are in excellent original condition.

Both covers screw on smoothly.

The crystal is new old stock glass.

The case back is worn smooth and has some pocket scratches.

This is a very clean Waltham 21 Jewel model 645 pocket watch housed in a 14 K gold filled case.

Serial number 20156652 dates this watch to 1916

The porcelain dial is free of chips or hairlines but does have a slight discoloration in the sunken area of the small second hand.

The crystal is new old stock glass.

The B & B 25 year gold filled case is free of dents and has only pocket type scratches.  The cartouche has Not been engraved and the sunburst engraving on the back is very nice, but had to see in this photo.

This is a spectacular 16 size, Waltham Crescent Street 21 Jewel Adjusted to 6 positions movement housed it a 14K White Gold Filled Keystone case. This case is the sleeveless model that I am particularly fond of.

The dial is very original nice double sunk style with faint hairlines between 11 and 12 and just below the 30 under the second hand. There is a small edge chip repair near the lever set just past 1

The crystal appears to be original heavy glass with no chips or scratches

The case was cleaned and polished and is free of dents or scratches

Movement # 26846588 dates this watch to 1929, it has just been lubricated and is keeping excellent time.

The hands are original blue and are free of any rust.

This is a very nice Waltham Premier 21 Jewel size 16 pocket watch. The watch was just services and is keeping very good time.

The dial is very good with only two very faint hairlines under the 30 by the second hand. They are very faint and almost impossible to see when the movement is in the case.

The 21 jewel movement is spotless, one of the cleanest I have ever seen, with the jeweled main spring.

The crystal is new old stock glass.

The case is 10K rolled Gold Plate. Is is in very good condition, both covers screw on smoothly*. There are only faint pocket scratches and one very minor ding.

This is a large size 18 Waltham 17 Jewel Stem wind and set with gold set jewels, center wheel and balance. Safety pinion. Serial number 14,037,661 dates this watch to about 1904.

The case is a Fayhs'  Monarch gold filled with screw on covers. Both screw on smoothly. The case shows age smoothing but no brazing and looks nice. The back photo has shadows the gold color is consistent across the case back.

The porcelain dial has no chips and a slight hairline near 12, very hard to see.

The heavy glass crystal is new old stock beveled glass.

This is an end of an era watch. One of a few produced and marketed by Waltham after they had closed most of their US based manufacturing. The watch has a 17 jewel stem set and wind movement.

The dial, hands and crystal are in almost perfect condition.

The covers screw on properly, the case is free of brazing but does have a minor ding and pocket scratches.

The back of the case is monogrammed, but it is so fancy I am not sure of the initials.

This is a very nice 19 Jewel size 16 Elgin B W Raymond Pocket Watch. The movement was just fully serviced and the watch is running strong and keeping good time.

The movement is housed in a beautiful Keystone 14 K White gold Filled nicely engraved case. Both covers fit as they should and screw on smoothly. The engraving on the case back are small flowers, not initials. 

The watch is lever set and stem wind.

The dial is very nice, there is a tiny edge chip between 6 and seven, but you can't see it in the photos and a very light hairline by 6, also very difficult to see.

This is a newer "1956" Elgin B W Raymond 571 21 jewel pocket watch.

Serial Number S548169.

The case is in very nice condition with no signs of brazing and only light pocket scratches and a couple of small dings on the back.

The crystal is new acrylic and is free of chips and scratches.

The dial has no chips, there is a faint hairline near 11

The watch keeps very good time. Adjusted to 9 positions

Covers screw on properly This is a stem set and wind movement, which is very unusual for the 571 movement and makes for a great everyday carry watch because you do not have to remove the front cover constantly to set the watch.

The cap jewel over the top balance pinion came out sometime after I took this photo I will replace it if I can find this jewel. This is only a cover jewel and does not effect the operation of the watch, in fact it is much easier to oil the staff and upper staff jewel with this cap jewel off.

This 17 Jewel lever set, stem wind pocket watch is truly a very rare find. The Military dial is so perfect I was concerned that it might be an Melamine  replacement dial before I had the chance to do an inspection. It is the original porcelain dial.

The covers on this case both screw on flawlessly. The case was meticulously cleaned, polished and then electroplated with a heavy 14K Gold over the original gold filled case. 

This watch has a very rare movement that was just serviced. It is keeping excellent time. As you can see there were less than 5000 of this model ever produced.

The serial number is 17015323, adjusted to three positions.

This is a size 16 21 Jewel Hamilton 992, housed in a gold filled bar over crown case.

The movement has been fully serviced and keeping good time.

The dial is very good with only the faintest hairline on the outer edge of the dial between 4 and 5. This is completely covered by the bezel.

The crystal is new old stock beveled glass.

The bow on the case is stiff, it appears that the area where the bow attaches to the case has been reinforced with gold solder. It is common for this area to wear on this style of case. There is a small ding in the rear cover.

Both covers screw on and off and fit as they should.

The case is 10K gold filled and is most likely the original to this movement being a Hamilton case. The case has some wear issues on the back cover and side that don't show up in the photos. There is thin dent in the side and what could best be described as small gouges on the back cover. The case has been cleaned and polished and is very attractive despite the issues listed.

This is a (Illinois) Burlington size 16 [43 mm] movement in a heavy 14 Karat gold filled open face Burlington case. 

This is the proper original case for this movement.

It is a 21 jewel double roller movement. Serial number 3014658 dates this watch to 1917. 

As you can see from the photo the movement has a gold drive train and three finger bridge, indicative of higher quality movements. 

The gold on this watch is in outstanding condition with only a few minor dings that hardly show to the naked eye. 

The gold on the crown and bow are excellent. 

There is a faint hairline at one o'clock, no other cracks or chips.
