is a beautiful 21 jewel, grade 941, size 18 Hamilton side wind, lever set
pocket watch. Serial number 183445 dates this watch to about
1902-1903.
The dial is almost perfect
with a very tiny edge chip near 2, where the lever is. It is
on the underside of the edge so is almost impossible to see.
The case is in very good
condition with only minor signs of wear and scratches marked
Fahys 14K Monarch, looks like rose color gold to me. This watch is well over 100 years old.
The crystal is perfect.
The covers screw on and
off flawlessly.

Chronometer was just serviced and keeping excellent time.
Housed in a Howard gold filled swing out case it is
stunning.
The dial is very good, very faint hairline that are
clean and invisible without magnification.
New old stock glass crystal.
There is a slight discoloration in the back center
of the case, I am not sure what this is but probably a manufacturing
problem.

The dial is an original Ferguson porcelain enamel.
The dial has a hairline between 3 and 9 and a flake near 20. Not perfect
but very presentable and several hundred less than if perfect.

Serial number 1155126 dates this watch to 1915.
The watch is cased in a triple hinged Keystone Howard
gold filled case. All of the hinges and covers operate properly.
The movement was just serviced and is keeping very
good time.
The dial is in very good condition with a very faint
hairline along the left side and a tiny nick between 12 and 1. Neither
are visible to the naked eye.
The crystal is glass and has no scratches or chips.
There is a high quality inscription on the dust Cover
and the back is smooth.

This is a size 18 Waltham 21 jewel
Crescent Street Serial Number 12565892, dating this watch to
1903. Very, Very
rare dual time zone.
The case is an open face hunter style with all hinges
working properly and closing tight. The glass crystal is
perfect as is the dial except for a small edge chip repair
between 1 and 2 near the 10. It is nearly invisible to the
naked eye and can't be seen with the bezel in place..
The case is 14K Gold Filled and is in very
good condition, there is some smoothing of the ornate
engraving because of the age but no brazing of the
gold.
The cartouche appears to be free of any
monogram or it was so light that it has worn off.
This watch has just been serviced.

The regulator on this watch looks more like a
Waltham to me but because Ball used a very strange serial number
system and the serial number is for a Hamilton I am selling
as a Hamilton, even though I have reservations. I thought
that the 16 jewel Hamilton's were lever set but there are
always exceptions.

dial, hunter faces are hard to photograph without reflection

The dial is free of chips, cracks or
hairlines, there is a tiny speck near the 24 hr. mark on the
wind indicator just below and to the left, it is not really

The crystal is new old stock heavy beveled
glass.
The case is by Star Watch Case, is 12 K
gold filled and marked Elgin RR just under the crown. Both
covers fit properly.
The watch has been fully serviced, is

Time Pocket Watch.
The
dial has small faint hairline in wind indicator dial and one
almost invisible at 1 hour mark. These are both so faint
they can not be seen with the naked eye, at least not mine.

glass crystal is near perfect.
The
14K white gold filled case has been cleaned and polished,
there are very minor dents on the back cover.

Santa Fe Special.
This movement is set off with gold plated case and
plate screws. One of the most beautifully damasked movements you will
ever find.
The movement was just serviced and is keeping good
time.
The dial is in good condition, with faint hairlines
outside of 8 and inside of 9.
SERIAL #3363508 dates this watch to 1919
Case: The Santa Fe Watch Co. Covers screw on and off properly. Steam
Engine back. There are some unusual marks on the back of the case ring,
they do not show with the movement and back cover in place and appear to be uniform
around the perimeter. There are a few other very minor dings. Overall the
case is in good condition and I believe original to this watch.
The crystal is new old stock glass.

size 16 solid 18K gold pocket watch is in excellent running condition.
There is a small dent on the bottom left edge
that is not visible in these photos.
The porcelain enamel dial is in very good condition with only one faint
scratch.
The crystal is perfect glass.
Solid gold hands.
All of the cover snap, but typical of 18K gold are
soft and a little care must be taken. The case measures 48.75 mm without
crown or neck
We believe this movement was
manufactured by A. Jaccard for Charles H. Grottendieck a
famous Belgium clock maker located in the Antwerp Belgium. Grottendieck
was a very high end clock maker, that made this watch. As he
only made watches for important clients it stands to reason
that he used the best movements available.
The most recent evidence I have is that this
is an A. Jaccard movement.
