Sterling Silver Longines was made in about 1927. The case
dial and crystal are all in top condition. The case back is
a hinged swing out style.
The solid silver dial has been overlaid
{electroplated} with 14K gold and the silver case has been
overlaid with platinum.
The combination of the light gold tone on
the black letter dial and hands coupled with the beautiful
sterling case that will never tarnish because of the
platinum overlay is stunning.
The 10 AN movement is very, very rare. I am
constantly looking to purchase this movement in order to have
back up parts for this watch and in the last five years have
been able to purchase only one.
This could be the only working 10 AN
movement left.
The watch was
recently serviced.
The measurements are 35 mm lug to lug and
27 mm across. The watch has solid silver lug bars and a new
black leather strap.
