This
is a vintage Hopalong Cassidy children's wristwatch. Old
character watches like this are not very desirable because
the movements were of very low quality and either do not
work at all or are very unreliable. In this watch the
movement has been replace with a Swiss
made 17 jewel manual wind movement, set into the
original case with a custom made movement holder that keeps
the movement in perfect position. The watch is fitted with a
new black leather strap. The original strap is fairly easy
to come by but for the most part are in very poor condition.
The original movement, shown in the bottom right photo is
included. |
